Stuff

It's been a few days since I posted last. Nothing exciting going on. Well I have been sending my resume to places and no one calls me. This blows. I'm going to talk to unemployment about paying for me to take some classes or get some certifications. Something.

I might be going to Pittsburgh to hang out for the weekend. I will know for sure later tonight.

I might have an opportunity to live in Sydney Australia for 4 months. A friend of mine's job might be sending him there for 4 months. So I might figure out a way to go too.  I can find a job there pretty easily. I mean, I won't be so picky. I will just go to a temp agency or some consultant firm and get a 4 month gig doing computer crap. There are lots of openings in the city. I won't really care too much about advancement and commute etc because it's only a temporary gig.  I mean I don't have any responsibilities or mortgage or anything. So why not live there? When will I have an opportunity like this again? Someday, when I grow up, I might have a mortgage and responsibilities (and a real job) and I won't be able to drop everything and move halfway around the world. When I was there in November I didn't want to leave. I really like it there. I'm still weighing the pros and cons, and it might not even be a definite thing yet. But I have nothing else to look forward to.

Anyway I'm going out to dinner with a bunch of my friends. We are going to Bertucci's.
