2006: The Year (of Trips) in Review
It's hard to believe it's 2007 already. Where did the year go? It was a pretty decent year for me. Getting laid off gave me the time and money (no, just the time...) to travel and live abroad. The year goes by pretty quick when you are constantly travelling. 
In '06 I went on a lot of trips. I went to Pittsburgh three times (flew once, drove twice). I know you are probably less than impressed, but I had never been there before. I also went to San Diego, Los Angeles, Disneyland, and some other places in that area (La Jolla etc). Oh and I went to Tijuana! That was... different. I lived in Sydney for 3 months, and most recently, I went to New York City for the first time. I went to Rehoboth Beach for a weekend, and to my parents shore house (I think), but they aren't too exciting compared to everywhere else. I think I have posts about the various trips. I haven't wrote about NYC yet. I haven't got around to it.
There were a number of factors that came together to make most of the trips possible, kind of like "the Perfect Storm". So I will probably be living at home for another 5-10 years while I pay for this year of travel and negative income (if I ever GET a job). Looking back, I think it was worth it.
Oh yeah, I'm going to Disneyworld in like ten days. That's my last scheduled trip (so far).
