The Real World

So the new season of The Real World is set in Sydney Australia.  I was really excited to see where the house was, and if I would recognize any of the places they would show. So of course I had to watch it.  It made me a little sad cuz I miss Sydney.  I really miss living there, and I seriously think about it every single day.  I have been everywhere they showed during the first episode.  I know exactly where there house is and how to get to it.  It's about a 15 minute walk from where I stayed.  It was great to see the places I know and love.  So many memories...

However, the people on the show totally ruined it for me.  I don't think I can watch it, even though they are in Sydney.  It's just so pathetic.  The people living in the house are emotionally and socially retarded, immature, egotistical, sex-focused, and shallow beyond what words can describe. The show should be called "Coddled by my parents, spoiled, and shielded FROM the real world". Who casts these shows?  They must have a "history of mental illness" requirement.  I think I hate them all.  I would never want to know any of them in real life, nor their parents.

They have no concept of the opportunity they have been presented with.  They are all too concerned with who has the best body, who is going to do who, who hates who, who is talking about who. It's SO childish and ridiculous.  This show should have been cancelled like 15 seasons ago.  It's a bunch of immature, socially inept people in a fishbowl for the world to laugh at.  It's a televised freak show.

I might tivo it, mute it, and fast forward through the ridiculous drama just to see more of the city.  Then again, why continue to watch it when I had my own "Real World" there?  I'm sure the drama is only going to get worse.  Who needs that shit?  But I know I won't cancel the season pass.  Since I can't get back to Sydney, I will have to settle for seeing it on this ridiculous show.

Another reason to hate American Express

I have always hated American Express.  Their policies and interest rates are ridiculous. They charge an annual fee to have their credit card.  And people pay it!  That's what kills me.  I get mail from them constantly saying I've been preapproved etc. How can that be when I haven't had a job since 2005?  I don't even open the mail from AMEX anymore. I tear it up and toss it.

Anyway, I got an American Express gift card for my birthday. What a money making scam for AMEX.  First off, there is a $3.95 fee to buy the card.  After 12 months, they charge a $2.00 a month fee and remove it from the remaining balance until it is gone. They charge $5.95 to replace the card if you lose it.  I can request the balance in a check, but there is a $10 check fee.  There are a few other fees.  WTF?

There should be a government branch that regulates bank fees and other bullshit fees. And if there is one already, then hopefully once the monkey who is in the oval office is out, we will have some leadership and someone who will put a stop to this rampant corporate fleecing of America. We as Americans are nickel and dimed to death with bullshit fees.  I'm sick of it.  Like the Cingular/AT&T upgrade fee.  WTF is that? They charge you to upgrade your phone? It's like the cable company charging you a fee because you bought a new TV.  Or the gas station charging you a fee because you bought a new car.  Such bullshit. I still want to get together a class action suit against them, to get a refund and to make their upgrade fees illegal.

I mean how much money do these greedy companies need? How rich do the greedy shareholders need to be? How much money is enough?

So the lesson here is, give cash.  Cash doesn't lose value.  There are no fees if you don't use the cash.  If you want to give a gift card, make sure there aren't any fees etc.  If there are, don't buy it.  If we all stop buying the cards that have stupid fees then they will have to change their practices and policies.

Now everyone can practice by sending me some cash.

More torrents

I found these when I was cleaning up my desktop.  I meant to post these a month ago.  I see these classy torrents posted on torrentsforall.net.  It's a good site, but every now and then there is a run of porn.

torrent1a  The first one is hilarious. Note the second one is volume 36.

torrent2a  These two are about your mom.

torrent3a  Is this a new superhero group, like the Justice League or the A-Team?

torrent4a  The title says it all...

torrent5a  WTF? What are the secrets?  Makes me think of Chewbacca.

Happy Belated Birthday and other stuff

Happy belated birthday to me!  It was yesterday, but I was too lazy to sign on and announce it here.   It's not like anyone is even remotely interested.  But be sure to send me money and gifts! I do prefer cash though. Lots of it too.

I got the new Harry Potter book, so I'm excited and sad.  I really enjoy the Harry Potter series. I'm sad that it's over. I'm going to start reading it soon.  If the author is smart, she'll wait like 5 years and write another HP book.  Unless she kills him off.  Even so, someone could bring him back to life.  If it was me, I would milk it for every last penny.  I would be writing Harry Potter books on my deathbed.  But it's not like she needs the money. She's got more than the Queen or something.

I was in Rodanthe in the Outer Banks last week.  It was nice.  I was expecting something different cuz it was so hyped up to me by friends and family.  I did have a good time once I realized that there really isn't anything to DO there except relax. And I don't do that so well.  I think if I went with my family or friends that it would have been more fun. Even though I barely saw the other people that were in the house.  It's a long story.  I spent a lot of time at the beach or the pool and hot tub.  I went kayaking.  Got eaten alive by mosquitos. I would recommend going there though. It's a good time. I liked where my house was because I could see the ocean and the sound. And the beach was a short walk down the street, and the sound was perhaps a block or two away.  It's a long ass drive to get down there from here.  It was the longest trip I have ever been on in my Jeep.

Saw Transformers down there too.  It was okay. Typical Michael Bay movie. All action, okay story. It was like an american car company commercial.  I don't want to rip it up in case anyone hasn't seen it yet. Though I could watch the transformation scenes over and over and probably never tire of them.  They were amazing.  A couple of the fight scenes were pretty good too.  The one on the highway looked so real.  It's incredible really.  He is ballsy too to have a scene where a plane crashes into an office building.  (I read somewhere after I saw the movie that audiences in New York were pissed about that.)

I saw Shrek the Third last night. I enjoyed it.  I like all the Shrek movies.  I hadn't seen it yet and wanted to see it before it left the theaters.  I had to go to some theater out near King of Prussia or something. Now I need to find the third Pirates movie before that goes away.

Simpsons movie on Friday! Woohoo!

There was other stuff I wanted to write about but I can't remember now.

Nothing to see here…

Sorry I haven't posted anything in a while. Haven't felt like it.  It's been really nice out the past couple days, and I've been busy searching for jobs and shredding paperwork. Watching TV.  Lying around. You know, important things.

I finally caught up on Heroes.  I was surprised how it ended. Its a blatant X-Men rip off, but I like the show.  They should do a live action X-Men show.  Like Smallville, but they could call it "X-Men" or something with X-Men in the title.  Otherwise how would know it was about the X-Men? Though Smallville is about Superman, but it doesn't say Superman in the title. Hmmmm.  Maybe they can call the X-Men show "the town where the x-men school is located".  Eh, it's a working title.

I should get a job in TV or movies.  I should get a job period.

New Torrents!

I saw these torrents available for download a week or so ago and saved them to share with you all.  I have finally gotten around to posting them.

Torrent1  The first title is obviously a play on "Dumb and Dumber", except they felt they needed three installments.  The second title is the 6th installment in that series, and is a 2-disc set. Just how much semen is being sipped?

Torrent2  This one makes me laugh out loud.  Say it outloud. Come on! The only thing that could be funnier is if there is a 12th in the series.

Torrent3  Another classic film title. This one seems to cover all the bases. What exactly IS that? Whoever named this movie deserves a raise.

Some ranting

First off, in case you didn't read the comments, I got Phantasmagoria to work using that german installer thing.  I haven't really played it. I was messing around with settings to see if I can make it look better, but I saw something shiny and got distracted. I will get back to it and play it.

So last night I was at this gas station up by Best Buy.  It's usually the cheapest gas in the area (besides maybe Wawa but there aren't any Wawa gas stores around me).  The gas was $2.99 and everywhere else it's averaging around $3.18. (Thanks Bush you asshole. And don't tell me he doesn't have anything to do with it.) Anyway, I never go there but I needed gas and it's cheap and it was right there.  So I'm pumping gas and this middle age black couple pull up in their gold minivan to the pump on the other side of my pump.  She's driving and he goes to pump the gas.  He says how much should I put in?  She said Fill it up and he goes NO! like she's insane or something.  He says why you want to fill it up and she said We going to the shore.  he said No no no and they start arguing. I felt like going over there and with the gas pump, soaking them both with gas, and throwing a match on them.  I wanted to tell them to SHUT THE F UP. Do I need to hear that shit?  Fill the tank for Christ's sake!  You might as well get it now. It's only going to go up in price, and you are AT THE PUMP already.  Can someone tell me WHY you wouldn't fill it up? Especially if you are going on a trip? And it's relatively cheap? People are just ridiculous. I used to work at a gas station years ago and there would be people who would stop for gas everyday and get like 5 bucks worth. Everyday! What is the point of that? Seriously. Fill it up. Save your self the trip. It's not like you aren't going to USE the gas.  It's not going to go bad. Freakin' morons!

I'm sorry.  People friggin' get on my nerves.

Cool game

I found a game guide to Phantasmagoria.  That was a cool game.  It was the first game I remember that had multiple discs, I think it had 7.  I never had the game, my cousin did.  But we used to play that for hours.  I should find it and play it again.  Though I wonder if it would play on XP.

I found a couple copies on eBay and just emailed one of the sellers and asked if it will play on XP. It's like 4 bucks!  I will let you know what they say.

Clive Barker's Undying was a cool game.  I might play Undying again oneday.  It was a good game (except for the giant vagina monster that is hard to kill at the end).  I hate when games are too hard to get to the next level.  When you spend 4 hours doing the same thing its just not fun anymore.

**UPDATE:  The eBay seller said that he "never played it on Windows" but "thinks the guy he got it from played it on Windows".  So that translates to: "No, it won't play on XP, but I want you to buy it so I'm being coy." I mean, I PLAYED it on Windows.  In 1995.  So I didn't buy it.  I looked online and found it so I'm downloading it now.  I also found an installer that supposedly will allow you to run it on XP.  Its written in German but it says its easy to figure out.  We'll see.  After all this I probably won't even play it.

June

It's June!  I'm still unemployed and waiting for someone to give me money.  I check the mail everyday but still nothing.  It's summertime now and I don't want to get a job.  I mean, I don't want to waste my summer working. I've been out of a job for so long now that it's starting to become embarrassing.

Got a question for you.  What do you do with your old computer games and old software?  Do you just throw it out? I was going through the tons of crap I have stacked everywhere.  I threw out so many dics with old programs, drivers, restore discs from computers long gone (that had windows 95/98 on them), and installation files for hardware that I probably don't even have anymore. And a bunch of old games. Some games I never even played. Most of them were copied and I just never got around to playing them. I had a bunch of instruction manuals and installation guides and random paperwork that got tossed also.

Also, what did you do with your music cassettes?  I have a shitload of them and they are taking up valuable space. I don't even have a player anymore, oh wait, i think i have a walkman somewhere.  but seriously, did you just store them or toss them? Do you even know what a cassette tape is?

I wish I had the money I paid for all the stuff I'm going to throw out.

I wish I had any money.

Spidey 3 and other stuff

I got a negative comment about how I only post every 12 weeks, so I guess I will write something now.  And it's only been about 3 or 4 weeks, so simmer down.  Nothing new or exciting has happened recently. Total SSDD.

I saw Spider-Man 3 last night.  It was pretty good. It wasn't my favorite, but it was good. There were too many villians or something, and it seemed rushed to me. It should have been two movies. Maybe it's me.  I was distracted by these 4 bitches who talked through the whole movie, and by the countless assholes playing with their cell phones. In the one scene, Spider-man accidentally hits Mary Jane, and the one bitch said "He Rick James'd her!" That was funny.  Also, people were laughing at parts that weren't supposed to be funny, and that gave the scenes a cheesy feel (that's probably why they were laughing in the first place.)

I have VH1 on and am watching old videos.  The morning show is "We are the 80s" and its all 80's videos.  It's great.  Some of those videos I haven't seen since the 80's.  After that, Rock Fest comes on.  It's rock videos from the 60's, 70's, and 80's. I saw Motley Crue's "Too Young To Fall In Love". It's kind of funny now. I tivo'd it back and watched it twice.  I love my Tivo.  Billy Idol's "Flesh For Fantasy" is on now.  His Rebel Yell album is one of my all time favorites.

I want to go back to Sydney, but I can't. I can go but it would be REALLY stupid for me to go. I have to stay here and get a freakin' job, cuz apparently that's what you are supposed to do. So I'm considering going to get my MSCE or something. I need a job so I can get money so I can play the lottery so I can win it so I can quit the job and do whatever I want. If someone gave me a shitload of money, that would make everything much simpler.  And I could be writing this from Sydney.
